This series of workshops and consultations are constructed for the artist who requires support, additional information and critics in their projects. The workshop will be structured as hands-on demonstration and with conclusion of peer and instructor critics. Kroma Paints 10 colours - excellent quality artists’ acrylics Kroma offers the best deal in terms of a complete package with excellent quality and pricing. www.kromapaints.com 1649 Duranleau St. Granville Island, Vancouver bc 604-669-4030 Kroma does a great box of paints with all the colours nessessary - Kroma is like the candyshop of paint so be careful! Tip: look at the discount paint selection. Another great brand for the price is Tri-art from Opus Framing and Art Supplies. Here are the suggested colours: Titanium White Iron oxide black (mars) Yellow oxide Raw umber Hansa yellow light Hansa yellow medium Ultramarine blue Phthalo blue Naphthol light red Quincridone red To note: sometimes an arylide yellow is suggested in place of the hansa light as the hansa yellow and hansa medium are so similar in hue. Biography:
	Check out my new Websites www.harrisnichols.com www.farmwurx.com I was born on a huge and isolated cattle ranch in the wilds of the Peace River Country, Northern BC - land of northern lights and huge mosquitoes. My art studies began at Grande Prairie Regional College and continued at Emily Carr College of Art and Design. Very recently I have returned to Emily Carr University to complete my studies. Between the bouts of education I instigated several art groups and art businesses that have promoted creative mentorship and learning. My work is evolving to a deeper philosophical level, the paintings are becoming larger in format and more complex in content. I work towards revealing a narrative that is an inherent component of our society. Teaching continues to be an important element of my artistic lifestyle. Not only do I share what I have learned in my studies and travels, but also to learn from the wisdom and visions of others.
